Most people run at the idea of a
playdate. Why deal with more kids? What if I don’t like the parent? It’s very
easy to look at all the negatives, but face it mom’s, we all need a little
break, and conversation outside of Disney and toddler sing-a-longs. Playdates
not only allow your child to meet new friends and play, but it also allow us
moms to have relatable conversations with other moms who are glad to not be
singing “Let it go” for the millionth time.
It’s very common to be nervous, but just like
any other date, it’s always best to come prepared. I strongly suggest starting
off with familiar faces and then branching off. If you know a mom,
who has other mom friends, take the extra step to invite them all for a group playdate.
Don’t worry! “Moms Who Playdate” will
make you a play dating pro.

I loved reading your post. Growing up, my parents were the type to always question playdates heavily. They were very skeptical. I wish they would have had your blog available to ease their minds!
